PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for FP&A and business support related to sales, gross margin and obsolescence as it related to actual, budget and forecast reporting. Work closely with Marketing to provide analysis and support related to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), gross margin, inventory and inventory obsolescence. Responsible for product line reporting and analysis related to actual, budget, and forecast.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 years' experience in the areas of Finance and Accounting with exposure to Sales and Marketing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new methods for presenting meaningful analysis and financial information to management, utilizing statistical analysis and graphic presentation techniques
- Provide analysis of the sales distribution (product line categories, vehicle of sale, sales by state, etc.), gross margin, and obsolescence for actual results, budget and forecast projections
- Prepare financial models to help identify potential risks and opportunities compared to budget and forecast
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis
- Increase productivity by developing automated processes
- Work closely with Marketing and provide analysis to support strategies to reduce the overall inventory balances and obsolescence
- Prepare and book necessary journal entries related to sales, gross margin and obsolescence
- Complete assigned sections of the Worldwide reporting package, Internal reporting and reporting to the DSA (Direct Sales Industry)
- Compile all required data and provide information to support both internal and external audits
- Maintain product line database and insure accuracy of system and product line reporting
- Provide required input for monthly logistics reporting
- Insure that the inventory obsolescence is accurately stated and in compliance with the current policy
- Ensures that management is kept informed of all decisions which affect the financial objective of the business
- Review and approve purchase order requests for sales aids and premium items
- Prepare and route for approval inventory dump ITD's

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 years' experience in the areas of Finance and Accounting with exposure to Sales and Marketing
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical abilities
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to program using VBA would be a plus
- Self-motivated, inquisitive and creative
- Strong presentation skills
- Disciplined time management, planning and organization
- Knowledge of JOE and SAP a plus
- Experience with system transitions/implementations
